FAQ - answers for hosts

Who can become host?
You would like to become a host and offer accommodation to non-resident fathers and mothers? This is wonderful! Get in touch with us. Send us a message and let us have some details about your possibilities e.g. type of accommodation and availability.
Generally our hosts offer free accommodation for 2 nights per stay, at least 3 times a year. A non-resident parent will normally contact you with a visit request 10 days before his/her arrival.
What happens if it does not work out between the parent and me?
In rare cases it might be necessary to change parent. Let us know if this is your case. We would treat your feedback confidentially and find another parent.
How do I get in touch with the parent?
  1. Please sign-up as honorary host and we will get in touch with you to get to know you better. You will then join our host community.
  2. As soon as we have a father or a mother who is looking for free accommodation at your place of residence, we will contact you.
  3. If the arrangement suits both sides and you would like to welcome the parent, we will forward to you his/her contact details and vice-versa.
  4. The non-resident father or mother will contact you directly at least 10 days before arrival with a specific visit request.
  5. You and the parent directly discuss the details and arrangements of the visit.
